Why we must act now in response to recent climate change—regardless of your opinion on its cause

Why We Must Change

Daniel R Chavas, University of Wisconsin-Madison
September 21, 2006

The purpose of this two-page document is to act as a “manual of persuasion” toward active responses to recent global climate change. This appeals first and foremost to the many who choose to conclude that recent and near-future climate change is not human-induced; in order to exact changes on a societal and global scale, we need them to join the cause. There are a few very simple, logical, and virtually indisputable arguments that should stir any person, regardless of their opinion on the scale of human influence in climate change, to take action in support of this cause.

I urge you to read this and pass on in any form possible.
